Now is the time to start talking to HMU artists. Plus, we absolutely recommend getting a trial done before event day to avoid hiccups.
Consider scheduling the trial for your engagement shoot or bridal shower.
That should give you plenty of time to decide who you like and what you want your hair and makeup to look like.
If you’re considering air brushed makeup since it lasts longer, keep in mind that you may not have enough time between ceremony and reception to get a whole new look done.
MEHNDI
- Know that your mehndi will likely take a few hours to apply.
- Factor that extra time as you figure out when to get it done.
- Most artists will recommend that you get your mehndi applied no more than 3 days prior to your wedding.
- We recommend having one artist focused on the bride and her closest girls, then have another artist(s) focused on the guests.
