Week 19 | 7-9 months prior to wedding day

CAKE! CAKE! CAKE! I keep hearing that this is one of those appointments that everyone looks forward to during planning 🙂
Cakes have come a long way… you can order one in just about any shape, size and flavor.
When planning for your wedding cake, we recommend to get cake for about 40-50% of your guest count. We also recommend that you have other desserts available for your guests.
Think about flavors that desis really enjoy like carrot cake, Italian cream, or white cake with fruit filling.

Remember that your beautiful cake will sit in the midst of all the other decor you have selected, it NEEDS to work together. Also, please don’t forget to think about the cake topper and cake server set. Most hotels or venues will have it, but be sure you ask!
HONEYMOON
Grooms, this is usually a task where you take the lead!
Think about the kind of vacations you both enjoy. Are you sitting on a beach sipping drinks and soaking in the sun? Are you exploring a new culture and seeing sights or are you all about new experiences?
There is absolutely NO wrong answer!
We do recommend that you actually get away, though. There are so many emotions around the wedding, that getting away for a honeymoon is a great way to unwind and rekindle the love and enjoy some alone time!
