It’s time for two more big decisions.
My hope is that you have met with decor companies and tasted food, so that you are comfortable with making these big decisions now.
For your decor team. Before signing on the dotted line and giving a deposit, please make sure you see a full invoice/proposal/quote. There are things that can add up quickly, like labor fees, delivery fees, accommodations, etc. so be informed before you commit.
For the catering company. Make sure that you understand if the price includes staff to set up and replenish the food as necessary. Are there additional fees for a chef onsite or chafing dishes? Be aware of all the costs!
I will say that a few dollars here or there is not the point, it’s about avoiding surprises and being fully aware.
