Week 22 | 4 months prior to wedding day

Hello Beautiful!

Are you ready to mail out the invites?

You likely have a box (or two) of wedding invitations, and the time is near for them to be mailed out!

A couple of things before you pull the trigger.

1. How are you going to address the envelopes? Printed labels or handwritten?

2. Stamps – please, please, please take the time to get stamps that are as pretty as your invitations! You can order personalized stamps online as well if you are interested from sites like zazzle.com

Assembly and beyond...

Let’s begin.

Now that you have all the details handled, you can begin assembling and mailing out the invitations.

Here’s a link to an article that will take you through all the steps – Invitation Etiquette

RSVPs

We are brown and, admit it, you didn’t always send back the RSVP card on time – just be prepared that it’ll happen! Have your parents call any guests that haven’t submitted their response and you take the time to call/text your friends so that you have an accurate count.

Advice

Know that some guests will ask if they can bring additional family members or change their response at the last minute – DO NOT get frustrated.  It happens! We suggest that you leave a couple of empty tables in the ballroom for this type of situation, so that the week of the wedding you are not having to re-do the seating assignments.

If they let you know last minute, then it’ll be ok to have them seated in the back of the room 🙂

ACTION ITEMS

  • Ensure you have all the elements needed to send out your invitations
  • Mail them out and wait for the RSVPs
  • Schedule on the calendar that 4 weeks before the wedding, you will sit to work on seating assignments
