Week 26 | 2-4 months prior to wedding day

SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION

Hello Beautiful!

Your friends and family are really starting to celebrate your upcoming wedding, so as you begin to receive gifts be sure to send thank you cards to show your appreciation.

There are so many options in today’s marketplace for you to find the perfect thank you card.  Everything from a set of boxed cards at your local store to custom cards with your photos that you can order online.

Find the right option for you. But, don’t get caught up in finding the “perfect” card so that 6 months later when you finally send them, they’ve lost their meaning.

Who should get thank you cards:

  • Anyone who has purchased and sent you a gift
  • People who attended your bridal shower or bachelorette party
  • Friends/Family who are helping you out with wedding prep

DesiWeds Insight:
Send out cards as you receive gifts, or within 2 months of the bridal shower or bachelorette party, so that it doesn’t become an overwhelming task.

After the wedding, guests are a little more forgiving of not getting a thank you card right away.  We get it, wedding planning was exhausting, you hopefully took a honeymoon, and you’re probably still settling into your new home.

Having said all of that, you still do need to mail them out – so get them out way before your 6-month anniversary 🙂

DesiWeds Insight:
– Guests appreciate cards with your favorite wedding day photos to reminisce on the good times spent during your wedding festivities!

– Send thank you cards to your wedding professionals. Reviews online are a great way to say you love them (and we love getting them), however a personal note to say thanks is a wonderful added touch!
