WELCOME BAGS

Hello Beautiful!

By now, you likely have a pretty good idea of how many guests will book rooms at the hotel.  We suggest that you prepare welcome bags for these guests.  These do not have to be these huge, over the top gifts. They are more of a gesture to help them feel welcomed and inform them of your wedding festivities!

For the practical spender, note that most guests will not take baskets or boxes back home with them.  Bags make the most sense, and making them disposable is a conscious way to go.

So, what do you put in the bags?  We suggest some basics like:

  • 2-3 bottles of water
  • Snacks (granola bars, cereal bars, nuts, individual packets of cookies/chips, etc. work very well)
  • Desi snack of some sort (mixture, plantain chips, etc.)
  • Something unique to the area (souvenir or otherwise)
  • Include details for the wedding (itinerary, map, attire, etc.)
  • Include a welcome letter to your guests
