Week 32 | 2-3 weeks prior to wedding day

PACK YOUR THINGS

Hello Beautiful!

This may seem pretty simple and unnecessary, however, trust me on this.  I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had a bride send someone back home to grab something or a groom send someone to the store to buy something.

Even if you are getting dressed at home, “pack” everything for wedding day as if you were not going to be home.

  • Brides
    • Go through to the smallest detail of everything you will need and make sure it is all in one place.  This also helps the photographers on event day when they ready to take detail shots, having everything in one spot makes this task a snap!
    • Pack for the night of the wedding and next day. If you are planning on wearing your manthrakodi to church and you need help with that, make sure to enlist someone to come over in the morning.
  • Grooms – do you have your socks?
  • Brides (or grooms) – for those of you changing between the ceremony and reception, pack a small suitcase with everything you need.
  • Parents – ask your parents to do pack as well – they definitely don’t need to be running around stressing you out on wedding day 🙂

Duties:

  • Auntie – assign an auntie to be the keeper of your real jewelry and ensure it is kept with someone at all times
  • Maid of Honor – put your MOH in charge of your emergency kit that you put together a couple of weeks ago.
